There is delicious, rather traditional cuisine here. The patio is a bit tight. The service is friendly, but you have to wait a while. The prices are acceptable for it. Generally not a bad place, but the competition in the area is great.

For years, a perfectly managed restaurant in the city center furnished with attention to detail. The food always tastes very good and the service is really quick. You can eat well here with any budget. If you like down-to-earth cuisine, you've come to the right place.

Food was tasty and inexpensive. Restaurant furnished in a rustic style. There is a star deduction because of the somewhat unfriendly service and slightly above average waiting time. In addition, that certain something is missing for the 5 stars. Still good and tasty.

A small star deduction because the fried potatoes were still a bit hard in places or could have been a bit crisp and the dining room could have been a bit warmer (but I'm also a frostbite).

You get what you expect - rustic food, very, very tasty and good service. A star deduction, because at least today it had taken a long time at us and other tables before the food came.

We enjoyed the delicious food outside. The fountain rushed in the background - that's really nice. The service is friendly and quick. We liked it very much. Interesting what you can do with potatoes. From schnapps to pancakes, everything is included ...

Why does this exist

Again Leipzig and not without reason ended up here again. Delicious variations of potatoes at a good price. Service team is friendly and attentive. And in terms of location, it is a particularly beautiful spot in Leipzig.

Service was very good at first, but then subsided. After about 45 minutes we finally got our food and unfortunately it was only lukewarm. The waitress didn't seem to care. The reaction to the tip was rather sober. The taste of the food was otherwise very good.

Nicely located. At the end of the barefoot alley. Extensive selection of classic potato dishes. Has been here 4 times in the past few years. Always tasty and good. No star cuisine - it shouldn't be either - but good, tasty portions in a filling size. Courteous staff and always good advice, you just have to ask. A great place to eat and also to linger with wine and beer. Due to its location, it is also a good meeting point for a group evening together.

Quaint restaurant with a rustic interior. Unfortunately it draws when both doors stay open. The food is filling and high in calories, even if fried potatoes with a strongly flavored flavor, which appear a bit dry under the onions, still has potential for improvement. Price performance is okay, we'll be back.

A restaurant with a special charm in the middle of the city. You can sit comfortably outside, and the staff is extremely friendly. We were not particularly impressed by the food, we would say “okay”.

I expected more or something better to eat. The schnitzel and sweet potato fries as well as the fried potatoes were pretty much too salty. The operator was okay. The hot plate was placed right in front of our 10 month old daughter. It's just irresponsible and inattentive. For me it is not worth another visit.

Very good German Food!

We went there for dinner and it was lovely. The restaurant was well attended. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is cozy and appealing. The menu is nicely designed and not overloaded. Waiting times for the food were in the usual time frame for fresh preparation there was nothing to complain about. It was also great in taste. Gladly again ??

An inn in the charm of a brewery. We found the drinks menu funny, applied to large, disused wine bottles. The food is rather rustic and fits. Very friendly staff.

What a great concept for a restaurant, the food is amazing, the atmosphere very pleasant and rustic and the prices absolutley fine for the big portions. The personnel was nice and humorous, a really nice experience all around and definitely a place to bring international visitors for some German cuisine in Leipzig.

Lots of history here, on our tour of Bach. A little coffee museum and enjoyable refreshments. I would return if ever in the area.

Food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Leo, our waiter, was super nice, very fast and speaks many languages, definitely made the visit more pleasant. They offer potatoes in many ways, shapes and forms, I had the wienersnitchzel with potatoes and it was awesome, I can definitely recommend it.

The ambience is really very nice, just to feel good. The very extensive menu has something to offer for every taste. The dishes are freshly prepared and really delicious. Finally, a big compliment to the service staff, always friendly and nice, and when the shop is buzzing it takes a few minutes longer. In any case, a clear recommendation !!!! We will be back definitely. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We (2 adults + 2 children) it tasted excellent. Interesting interior design, where there is always something new to discover. Ample space and nice staff.

Mediocre at best. Avoid.

The greek style potato gratin was a nightmare. It was over salted, completely overcooked vegetables and w/o any other taste. It was not made with Feta but a cheep substitute and olive from the glass still with taste of vinegar. All this after 40min waiting for it made me leave the spot w/o drinking my wine. Impossible to understand how a cook can release a dish like that. Awful. Sorry.
